ALYGN is an AI-powered EQ communication tool that measures the gap between what you mean and how your messages land — and coaches you to close it.
ALYGN is a web-based communication intelligence tool that uses AI to decode the emotional subtext of written messages. Users paste a message — one they've sent, received, or are about to send — and ALYGN returns a perception gap score (the % gap between how they meant it and how it's likely to be read), a communication flag analysis, and two AI-written alternative scripts grounded in NVC and CBT assertiveness frameworks. Over time, the app builds a personal EQ profile across 5 dimensions and classifies the user into one of 6 communication archetypes, each rooted in John Gottman's research on communication patterns.
What makes ALYGN different from grammar or writing tools is its focus on emotional subtext rather than correctness. It doesn't check spelling — it asks: how will this message make the other person feel? And it answers with a number.
"I built ALYGN because I kept watching smart, caring people damage their relationships with messages they thought were fine — and have no idea why. The gap between what we mean and what lands isn't a personality flaw. It's a measurable, learnable skill. ALYGN makes that gap visible for the first time."
Each archetype is derived from the user's own message history across the 5 EQ dimensions — not a self-report quiz. The archetypes map to patterns described in Gottman Method, CBT, and NVC research.
