1. What ALYGN Is

ALYGN is a communication intelligence tool that helps you understand your emotional communication patterns. It uses AI to analyse text you provide and returns insights about perception gaps, communication flags, and EQ indicators. It is a self-reflection tool, not a medical device, mental health service, or substitute for professional psychological support.

2. Who Can Use It

You must be at least 16 years old to use ALYGN. By using the service, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You can use ALYGN anonymously. If you choose to link an email or Google account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You may not share your account or use it to impersonate others.

4. What You Can Do

• Use ALYGN for personal communication self-improvement
• Share your results and invite others
• Use ALYGN as part of coaching, therapy, or team development if you have appropriate professional context

5. What You Cannot Do

• Use ALYGN to analyse messages without the knowledge or consent of the other person (where legally required)
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI analysis API
• Use ALYGN for any purpose that violates applicable law
• Resell or white-label the service without a commercial agreement

6. The Content You Provide

You retain ownership of any text you paste into ALYGN. We do not store that raw text — only the structured analysis result. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you analyse (e.g. messages from other people).

7. AI Limitations

ALYGN's insights are generated by AI and are probabilistic, not definitive. They reflect patterns in language, not psychological diagnoses. Do not make significant life decisions based solely on ALYGN's output. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis line.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. Pricing

ALYGN is currently free during its beta period (until 1 September 2026). We may introduce paid tiers after that date. Existing users will receive advance notice before any free features become paid.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

11. Liability

ALYGN is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Milan, Italy, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
