Question 1

What is a communication archetype?

Accepted Answer

A communication style is a pattern in how you express needs, handle conflict and respond under pressure. ALYGN estimates yours from the messages you write, among seven: Secure Connector, The Softener, The Absolutist, The Deflector, The Critic, The Over-Processor and The Fixer.

Question 2

How does ALYGN work?

Accepted Answer

You paste a message you received, or one you are about to send. ALYGN reads what it really communicates, estimates how far that is from what was meant, and gives you three different ways to reply. Over time it estimates your communication style and how it evolves, from the messages you write.

Question 3

Is ALYGN free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Reading a message, the three replies, the quiz and your communication style are free. No sign-up to start. What you paste stays yours and is never sold.

Question 4

What is the difference between ALYGN and other communication style tests?

Accepted Answer

Personality tests ask abstract questions. ALYGN reads the real messages you write and receive, tells you how your words land, and follows how your communication changes over time. It is an estimate, not a verdict.
